Phoenix Location: Obedience 3

The Phoenix Location is in the area of 40th Street and Thunderbird, an email will be sent out with exact address. This is at my home so there will be no bathroom access so as not to disrupt my family. This is a small training room so there will be no more than 3 dogs and might only be one dog. If you are wanting a larger group class this will not be for you. Our Tempe location will be more suitable for those looking for group classes.

This class is to prep you for Public Access training & features an intro to Rally and Competition obedience. We do a lot with fine motor control and body awareness. This course changes based on the needs of each class.

Swing into heel
Back Up refreshed

Week #2

Sit - Down - Stand: with Distance
Stay with Distractions + Leave It
Down on Recall (Emergency Down)
Watch with Distractions

Week #3

Stays (building to out of sight with distractions)
Recalls with distractions
Touch Transfer: Tape

Week #4

Paw/Button
Paws Up
Watch with distractions
Shake/No shake

Week #5

Trust games: Basket
Tight spaces.: Under/In
Step Over & Hide

First Class Only Please Bring:

Proof of Veterinary Care (AKA – Record of Vaccinations)
Payment for Course in full or the remainder due after your deposit.
Signed Waiver for the Course, completed in class.

Bring to Every Class:

Leash attached to your dogs flat collar, Martingale collar, or training tool you use.
Please no “flexi” or extendable leashes, also no bungee leashes.
Treat Rewards or Toys for your pup (please no squeaking toys)
Poo bags / Clean up kit
Treat pouch strongly encouraged.
