We facilitate the needs of the disabled to self train their own service dog, enabling them to become self reliant and self sufficient.
This course teaches you and your dog how to help stabilize you, assist you getting up and down, and pull a wheelchair. No real weight is applied to the dog in class. We will explain how and when to start applying pressure. It will take time for your dog’s muscles to build. Because we don’t apply weight dogs under 2 year may take this course. Prerequisite required. Completion of Obedience 1. If you can wait until after Obedience 2 you'll do better in this class.
