Bracing Skills Enrollment
This course teaches you and your dog how to help stabilize you, assist you getting up and down, and pull a wheelchair. No real weight is applied to the dog in class. We will explain how and when to start applying pressure. It will take time for your dog’s muscles to build. Because we don’t apply weight dogs under 2 year may take this course.

This is a non-refundable $30.00 reservation and deposit only. The remaining balance due ($185.00) will be collected at the beginning of the first class session on August 23, 2026. We accept cash, check & Zelle. Zelle information will be provided in class.
Upon successful reservation payment, you will be directed to the registration page where you will need to complete your basic information as well as your dogs health information.

- Bracing Stance – Applying pressure
- Where it all begins.
Week #2
- Brace from Chair
- Brace from Floor
- Brace while Standing
Week #3
- Bracing in motion
- Steps
- Stability on uneven surfaces
Week #4
- Bracing in motion continued.
- Forward Pull from sitting or standing
- Momentum aid.
First Class Only Please Bring:
- Proof of Veterinary Care (AKA – Record of Vaccinations)
- Payment for Course in full or the remainder due after your deposit.
- Signed Waiver for the Course.
Bring to Every Class:
- Leash attached to your dogs flat collar, Martingale collar, or training tool you use.
- Please no “flexi” or extendable leashes, also no bungee leashes.
- Treat Rewards or Toys for your pup (please no squeaking toys)
- Poo bags / Clean up kit
- Treat pouch strongly encouraged.
- If you have bracing equipment for your dog please bring it to each class.
